I) Nifty: opened at 23783 and touched a high of 24226, then a low of 23751 and closed at 24188 with a total of +445 points in Positive.

II) Bank Nifty: opened at 51084 and touched a high of 51672, then a low of 50922, and closed at 51605 with a total of +544 points Positive.

III) Sensex: opened at 78657 and touched a high of 80032, then a low of 78542, and closed at 79943, with a total of +1436 points in Positive.

IV) Nifty Mid Select: open 12911 and touched a high of 12946, then a low of 12820, and closed at 12934, With a total of +160 points in Positive.

  1. Eicher Motors:- Royal Enfield exported 11,575 motorcycles during the month as compared to 6,096 during the same period last year, a rise of 90%
  2. Bajaj Finserv:-Bajaj Finance Share Price: Citi expects Bajaj Finance to maintain stable loan growth, supported by a 3-5 basis point improvement in net interest margin, boosting profitability. While credit costs are projected to rise slightly to 2.2-2.5%, the note added that the company’s strong fundamentals remain solid.

Nifty 500 TOP LOSER Market

1. Petronet LNG:- Petronet LNG share price: Petronet LNG's shares tanked by 8.5% on Thursday, January 2, after critical comments from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) concerning tariff-related issues. Further, Citi issued a bearish report on the stock, placing it under a 90-day negative watch. The PSU has now issued a clarification on this.

2. Suzlon Energy:- Shares of Suzlon Energy Ltd hit an upper circuit of 5% in the afternoon session on Wednesday. A series of developments for Suzlon Energy triggered the rally in the multi-bagger stock. The multi-bagger stock hit an upper circuit of 5% at Rs 65.34 against the previous close of Rs 62.23 on BSE.
